In 2008 I received an MFA in Fiction from the Bennington Writing Seminars. I moved to Uruguay soon after before coming back seven years later with a husband and two kids.
It took a while to acclimate into my new life stateside. I began working on a collection of connected essays and short stories about the steps to motherhood and the shadowy fairy tale that followed. Then an anti-Trump are-you-kidding me fog prompted a 12- month hiatus. Here I am again finding my way.
